The 3rd National College Student Career Planning Competition (Hainan Regional) recently concluded. Pan Yingning, a first-year student at Hainan Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences (BiUH), won the Bronze Medal in the Growth Track (Higher Education Group) of the Hainan Division, marking BiUH’s first breakthrough in this competition and showcasing the outcomes of its “work-integrated” educational approach on a provincial stage.

The competition aims to enhance career education and foster better alignment between talent supply and market demand. It attracted over 90,000 students from universities across the province, making the contest highly competitive. In response to the call of the Hainan Provincial Department of Education, our university organized the “1st BiUH Career Planning Competition” in November 2025.

In the university-level competition, Pan Yingning, Yan Xu, and Huo Xuzhou were awarded first prize. Following multiple rounds of presentations and evaluations, Pan Yingning was selected to represent BiUH in the provincial competition. The university attached great importance to student participation,  the University-Business Partnership Office and Student Affairs Office jointly forming a guidance team to provide consistent tutoring and support for the participants, ensuring the high-quality completion of the competition.

Through the competition, students gained opportunities to deeply explore career directions, enhance their planning and presentation skills, and truly recognize the importance of integrating personal development into national and regional progress. The university will continue to support students’ participation in career planning competitions, helping them cultivate a proper outlook on talent development and employment, improve their overall competencies, and lay a solid foundation for high-quality and full employment in the future.

The future is here, and careers light the way! We look forward to seeing more BiUH students shine on the stage of the Career Planning Competition in the coming year!
