Transitional Campus – Lingshui Li’an International Education Innovation Pilot Zone (from 2023 to 2025)

At present, a total of 10 Chinese universities and 12 overseas cooperation universities have signed with the the Pilot Zone. Among them, Chinese universities are all higher education institutions committed to building “world-class universities” or “world-class disciplines”, while overseas partner universities are among the world’s top 100 universities or universities with distinctive discipline characteristics.

The Pilot Zone has established an innovative school-running model of “Shared Public Facilities and Dedicated Smaller Schools”. All the colleges and universities settled in the Pilot Zone share the public library, public teaching buildings, public laboratories, sports venues, student dormitories, teachers’ apartments, canteens and other public facilities, and can use the dedicated smaller schools according to the characteristics and requirements of their disciplines. Through the “sharing of public facilities”, it promotes the educational integration of the colleges and universities characterized by interdisciplinary blending, connection between liberal arts and science, mutual selection of courses, mutual recognition of credits, interaction between teachers and students and consultation on management, so as to foster competent international and innovative talents for the future.
