On January 11, our university’s president, Professor Kretschmann, visited Yangpu International and engaged in an interactive exchange activity with representatives from enterprises such as Hainan Grand Manor, Hainan Tianjiao Group, and Juanhe Digital Industry.
At the symposium, Professor Kretschmann introduced the university’s educational philosophy and development plan to the attending guests, emphasizing the importance of university-enterprise cooperation, and proposed a series of cooperation ideas, including establishing an industry university research cooperation base and conducting student internships and training projects. He emphasized the advantages of Yangpu region in the port and shipping logistics industry, high-tech industry and yacht industry, and expressed willingness to cooperate more closely with Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences, Hainan. Chen Mingye also put forward some constructive suggestions for cooperation, including offering industry lectures and jointly carrying out scientific research projects, etc., to promote the quality of talent cultivation in the university and the innovative development of industry.
