On the afternoon of March 29, a delegation of executives from China Unicom visited BiUH and held a symposium. Professor Dr. Juergen Kretschmann, the President of this university, and representatives from the university’s departments attended and jointly participated in the exchange.
President Professor Dr. Juergen Kretschmann, introduced the academic background and teaching characteristics of this university to representatives from China Unicom, emphasizing the strengths of the “practical embedded” teaching model. He also emphasized that university-enterprise cooperation is a mutually beneficial cooperative relationship, which not only provides students with practical opportunities, but also an important way to promote the combination of academic exchange and practice.
Dantai Xinpu, Senior Vice President of China Unicom Digital Technology Co., Ltd., expressed strong interest in Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences, Hainan’s teaching model and talent training program, and particularly stressed on the urgent need for international talents in the modern high-tech industry. Representatives from both sides have conducted in-depth discussions on specific plans for future university-enterprise cooperation, jointly exploring how to better cultivate outstanding talents that meet industry needs.
This meeting has not only deepened the understanding and willingness of both parties to cooperate, but also laid a solid foundation for the further development of university-enterprise cooperation in the future.
