On November 23rd, the national finals of the 12th China College Students’ Digital Media Technology Works and Creativity Competition came to a successful conclusion in Chengdu. Two teams from our university were awarded the 2nd and 3rd prizes respectively! The work ” Huangdi Mausoleum: The Spiritual Symbol of Chinese Civilization”, creatively produced by Haoxuan Liang, Yichun Xue, Zhenning Yu, Sihan Liu, and Changpeng Wang, won the second prize in the national competition, and the work “Dongpo Poetry and Cuisine”, created by Anna Fu, Simin Peng, and Guiqi Xiao won the third prize in this national competition.
The 12th China College Students’ Digital Media Technology Works and Creativity Competition attracted over 100,000 participating teams from more than 2,500 universities and colleges at home and abroad. A total of 140,000 entries were submitted, with approximately 400,000 teachers and students involved. More than 1,500 first prize works from provincial competitions advanced to the on-site finals to compete for the first and second prizes in the national competition.
It is reported that China College Students’ Digital Media Technology Works and Creativity Competition is a Class-A competition recognized by “Analysis Report of National College Students’ Competitions” released by the Ministry of Education. The competition aims to promote the integration and innovation of intelligent technology and digital creativity and to enhance students’ practical skills. This year’s competition attracted numerous outstanding teams from colleges and universities across the country.
Since the launch of the competition, our university leaders have attached great importance to it and made strategic plans at the school level. Instructors have provided constructive suggestions on the details of the projects. The Academic Affairs Office actively organized students to participate in the competition and guided them to enter the on-site defense.
