On 28 October 2026, Mr. ZOU Guang, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Hainan Provincial Committee and Secretary of the CPC Danzhou Municipal Committee, and Mr. DING Hui, Secretary of the CPC Leading Group of the Hainan Provincial Department of Education and Director of the Department, visited Hainan Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences (BiUH) with their delegation to review the university’s operations and conduct a safety inspection. Mr. ZENG Weilu, Vice President of Public Relations and Student Recruitment and Legal Representative of BiUH, accompanied the visit and reported on the university’s work.

Mr. ZOU Guang and Mr. DING Hui and their delegation successively visited the Welcome Centre, teaching buildings, the student center, the student canteen and student dormitories, where they inspected the progress of campus construction and were briefed in detail on the university’s enrolment scale, programme portfolio, faculty, talent development and campus safety management. They also heard Mr. ZENG Weilu’s report on the university’s development.

During the visit, Mr. ZOU Guang and Mr. DING Hui fully affirmed the university’s achievements in campus construction and education, and offered guidance on its future development. BiUH will take this visit as an opportunity to earnestly implement the instructions of the higher-level leadership, continuously raise its educational standards, and make greater contributions to the development of the Hainan Free Trade Port.

Mr. XU Huidong, Director of the Physical Education, Health and Arts Education Division of the Provincial Department of Education, together with persons-in-charge of relevant divisions; Mr. YANG Yongfei, Party Secretary of Danzhou Education Bureau; Mr. LIANG Jun, Director of Danzhou Education Bureau; Ms. GUAN Jian, Party Secretary of Danzhou Association for Science and Technology, and heads of relevant departments of the university also attended the research visit.
